چکیده

Here, we investigated the population genetic structure and diversity of endemic Chinese oceanic sipuncula Phascolosoma esculenta by using partial mitochondrial DNA 16S rRNA sequences. In total, 80 samples were collected from Xiangshan, Wenling, Ningde, Zhanjiang, which are four muddy intertidal zones southeastern China. Results showed that gene fragments, 5 1010 bp in length, 73 1011 2 1012 length. The A+T content (67.7%) was signifi cantly higher than C+G (32.3%), thus exhibiting obvious AT biases. addition, 27 different haplotypes defi ned 33 polymorphic sites, giving an overall haplotype 0.908 a nucleotide 0.00247. topological neighbor-joining tree extremely simple, without any geographical structures within groupings. distances among populations ranged 0.0022 to 0.0031, those 0.002 0.0028. results AMOVA revealed low level differentiation populations. A neutral test mismatch analysis indicated recent expansion for P. esculenta.

Genetic variations of avian Pasteurella multocida as demonstrated by 16S-23S rRNA gene sequences comparison

Pasteurella multocida is known as an important heterogenic bacterial agent causes some severe diseases such as fowl cholera in poultry and haemorrhagic septicaemia in cattle and buffalo. A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay was developed using primers derived from conserved part of 16S-23S rRNA gene. The PCR amplified a fragment size of 0.7 kb using DNA from nine avian P. multocida  isolates...

Genetic Diversity and Molecular Phylogeny of Iranian Sheep Based on Cytochrome b Gene Sequences

Phylogenetic relationships and genetic variation between two Iranian sheep breeds were analyzed using cytochrome b (cyt-b) gene sequences. The genomic DNA was isolated by salting out method and amplified cytochrome b gene using polymerase chain reaction restriction (PCR) method with a pair of primer. A partial sequence of cyt-b gene of Iranian sheep is 780 bp and contained 13 variable sites and...

Diversity of caprine and ovine Pasteurella multocida isolates based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing

In this study, to increase information about the relationship between caprine and ovine isolates of Pasteurella multocida, 16S rRNA gene sequencing of 9 goats (5) and sheep (4) isolates were investigated. Also, capsular type and toxAgene presentation was studied in this paper. All isolates, except one, belong to capsular type A, and toxA+ strain distributed among strains were isolated from both...
